Why we started The Ranch of Hope Counseling Center

In 2002 Hope and I asked each other this question, “Where can we as Christian Counselors refer someone if we knew they were in significant trouble and traditional one hour counseling was not enough?

The choices were very limited, very costly, often only for groups, or only for Pastors, or completely secular in nature. Slowly over the next two years the Lord begin to instruct us in the concept of a 5-day Christ Centered Intensive. We prepared our hearts, learned from the best in this field of ministry, and searched the country for a beautiful, year round accessible private retreat style setting to begin this ministry.

Utilizing Biblical based, Spirit filled methods, The Ranch of Hope Counseling Center was born in November of 2004. We now have 3 Counselors, a Life Coach, and have reached thousands of people from across America and the World. Twenty percent of our clients present to us internationally.

We have kept true to the vision of allowing the Lord to “heal the brokenhearted and setting those who have been held captive free”.  With our eye on the future yet our heart focused on each client, couple, or family we are here for you or for someone you know who is hurting.

Give Hope a call, we can help through the power of Jesus Christ! David Taylor, President, Co-Founder, The Ranch of Hope Counseling Center.

Over the 13 years at ECI, Mariah was able to attend over one thousand hours of training in many different disciplines related to development, trauma, families, and children. The focus of her heart has been and will continue to be to lead others closer to the heart of Jesus, to restore what the enemy has tried to take, and to help others break free from the lies of the enemy. Brandon Bradford is a Certified Professional Life Coach and serves at the Ranch of Hope as the primary Life & Leadership Coach. A third generation minister of the gospel, Brandon has served in many different ministry roles since 1999. Brandon and his wife Mariah met while attending SAGU in Waxahachie, TX. They were married in 2003 and made Waxahachie there home. They began attending Freedom Fellowship International under Pastor’s John and Shelli Bates and became an active part of the vision and community there. While at Freedom they served in various roles from small group leaders, worship team, Children’s Pastors, and in December of 2010 became the Youth Pastors. Brandon has also attended “Caring for the Heart Ministry” and received training under John Regier. He has been involved in the Ranch of Hope since its inception in 2004, and has prayerfully helped to cultivate an atmosphere that fosters healing while bringing people to the feet of Jesus. Brandon also spent 10 years working in the gas and oil field with 7 of those years serving as an Operations Manager for Renovar Energy Corp. In 2013 Brandon found himself at a crossroads. Struggling to maintain the balance between his family, career, and ministry he found himself in crisis and very near burnout. With the support of his Pastors, and the guidance of a wonderful Christian Counselor he began to reevaluate the things in his life. He found balance, and began to thrive once again. Realizing the significance of this season and how the outcome could have been very different, Brandon began to ask the Lord how his own experience could benefit others. One day the Lord spoke the words “Life Coach” to Brandon, and the seed of a new vision was planted. Brandon has had the privilege of working with leadership from all over the world in both ministry and business. This experience has helped him gain a unique perspective of what it means to be a leader. He is passionate about helping others find their identity and purpose in Christ, and equipping them with the tools to be successful in ministry or business, while maintaining a healthy family life!
